![]() John L. Keeley Jr. President | KEELEY funds – Adviser History Keeley Asset Management Corp. (KAMCO) is a boutique value manager based in Chicago. The firm was founded by John L. Keeley, Jr. in 1982 and specializes in investing in companies undergoing INTERNAL CORPORATE RESTRUCTURING. John L. Keeley, Jr., is President and Chief Investment Officer at Keeley Asset Management Corp., a registered investment adviser. He earned his B.A. at the University of Notre Dame and his MBA at the University of Chicago. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and serves as a director of the Marquette National Corp. Mr. Keeley started his career as a financial analyst at the Standard Oil Co. of Indiana in 1966. Associations with the Chicago Corp., London based James Capel, and Seward Securities followed until, in 1977, he established his own registered broker dealer, Keeley Investment Corp. (KIC), distributor of the KEELEY funds. He remains there as President and Treasurer. He is married and has three children, all of whom actively participate in the firm. |
