John L. Keeley, Jr. founded Keeley Investment Corp, with the concept of giving his clients contract research.
1982
Keeley Asset Management was founded to satisfy client requests for individual and institutional money management.
1990
The first Mid Cap institutional account was funded, Municipal Employees' Annuity & Benefit Fund of Chicago.
1993
The KEELEY Small Cap Value Fund, Inc., a mutual fund company, was launched.
1995
The first Small Cap institutional account was funded, Firemen's Annuity and Benefit Fund of Chicago.
2005
The KEELEY Mid Cap Value Fund, a mutual fund series, was launched.
2006
The KEELEY All Cap Value Fund, a mutual fund series, was launched.
The first Alternative Value strategy launched as a Hedge Fund.
2007
The KEELEY Small-Mid Cap Value Fund, a mutual fund series, was launched.
